AY!, formed by Daniele Martini (sax), Marco Di Gasbarro 9drums) and Fabiano Marcucci (bass), sprung in 2010, thanks to the fertile ground of the Italian creative music, when three Romans met at a double-bill with their respective bands, Heinz Karlhausen & The Diatonics and Squartet. Ay! draws inspiration from Afro-Latin music keeping a strong rock attitude.
